MEISSL ARCHITECTS, based in Seefeld in Tyrol, is a strong family-run business in the 2nd generation, which has specialised in alpine architecture since it was founded in 1958. The company has successful branch offices in Vienna and Bolzano and has brought two attractive players on board as Managing Partners with Gordon Grusdat and Thomas Wawris. The development of MEISSL ARCHITECTS is based on the vision that architectural works are visual communication with their own language logic – created by the intensive involvement of everyone participating in the project. MEISSL ARCHITECTS is responsible for the overall design of dasMAX and its design language. The dasMAX lighting and interior design language was realised using products & designs from PROLICHT GmbH and BoConcept Germany GmbH.
A strong focus on the individual configuration of lighting, lighting mood and room atmosphere characterises our partner PROLICHT GmbH, who is committed to making a difference. The Tyrolean company based in Götzens near Innsbruck produces locally, operates internationally and promises its customers bespoke solutions. MEISSL ARCHITECTS selected all the entire lighting equipment in such a way that every room and area can show itself and shine in its best light. At the same time, PROLICHT lights speak a smart language and inspire with their minimalism and high-quality design.
BoConcept has been combining Danish design with urban influences since 1952. With more than 300 stores in over 60 countries, BoConcept stands for modern and functional interiors. The style is Nordic, simple without appearing cold, and has been shaping furnishing trends in the home and lifestyle sectors for decades. In addition to versatile furniture and accessory collections, BoConcept offers high-quality design and many years of expertise as a customer-focused furnishing consultant. This traditional Danish company’s signature is characterised by multifunctional furniture and accessories with Scandinavian flair and urban lifestyle, which can be put together to suit personal preferences. The company collaborates with popular Danish designers such as Morten Georgsen, Henrik Pedersen and Anders Nørgaard as well as with international celebrities such as Oki Sato’s ``nendo`` and multiple award winner Karim Rashid.
The concept of harmonising all an interior design’s elements in a holistic and harmonious way is also reflected in the name. The Danish word ``bo`` means ``to live`` and BoConcept literally means ``living concept``. The furnishing consultation is an integral part of the corporate philosophy. BoConcept helps turn personal dream living spaces into reality, assists with the search for the right piece of furniture, the furnishing of individual rooms and even the planning of apartments, houses and business premises - from the first inspiration in the store to implementation in your own living space.
The BoConcept story begins with the two cabinetmakers - Jens Ærthøj Jensen and Tage Mølholm. They both founded the furniture factory at the beginning of the fifties: “Ærthøj Jensen og Mølholms Møbelfabrik”. The first BoConcept brand store opens in Belle Epine, Paris in 1993. Followed by more stores in France, China, the USA and Germany as well as Austria and Switzerland. Germany is one of BoConcept's key markets with 36 stores at the moment. More new store openings are planned in Germany as well as in Austria and Switzerland. This is another step towards the ambitious goal of becoming the number 1 retail brand worldwide in the furniture industry.
